Time to Share

There will not be one single Large Language Model (LLM) just like there was never only one Web Browser available to navigate the Internet. As the use cases and purpose mature over our adoption of generative artificial intelligence, there will be huge advantages to see various approaches to leverage the unprecedented potential of this set of breakthrough innovations.

When the Internet became interesting and useful to humanity leading to mass adoption, there were instantly many user experiences that were proposed to benefit from the information highway. Some of those experiences led to mass adoption, drove design and use of standards and changed the entire pace and dynamics of how humans interact with each other. Mass adoption of artificially intelligent agents augmenting human beings on many aspects of their lives unlocks for human beings the possibility to multiply the value and impact we have for each other.

There never was only one web browser even though some companies tried as hard as they could for it to be the case. The foundational elements of cryptocurrencies led to a plethora of currencies being in use. When breakthrough innovation gets traction, there is always one or many market leaders, a bunch of visonaries challenging domination and niche players worrying about those who were left behind.

LLMs are to Artificial Intelligence adoption what Web Browsers were to Internet adoption: One tool among many others that humanity will need to unleash the full potential of democratized artificial intelligence. Now is not the time to choose, now is the time to provide feedback on why one model can or cannot be used to help you as a worker to augment one’s performance or an entire company to better deliver on its mission.
